Free Mikhail Konev!

Yabloko Youth calls for the immediate release of Mikhail Konev, leader of PARNAS Youth wing. According to the reports on the social media, Mikhail has been kidnapped from the military registration and enlistment office in Moscow. Despite the fact that the activist has an exemption from military service the army conscription commission found him fit for military service. As Konev left the building, we was forced into a car by three unknown men. Media reports that he was taken to the enlistment eligibility activity.
For years YABLOKO Youth has been calling for abolition of the construction system, claiming it should be replaced by the army based on contract principles. Now the Russian authorities are using the conscription system to put pressure on opposition political activists. We are outraged at the situation with Mikhail Konev and call for his immediate release!
