We rolled right back to North Korea

“We rolled back to the times of a new Cold War,” such a vauge statement was made by Dmitry Medvedev in Munich, and all media wrote that Dmitry Mededev “had declared the start of the Cold War”. This means that the society is already prepared for a war, it is already on their mind… There is only a step from such a war on one’s mind to a real war, not a cold one.
One should not think that it will be the same as it was in the Soviet times when everyone kept talking about the Cold War but nothing happened. At those times 14 people governed the country, not ONE person, and there was some sense of social responsibility, though it was perverted. Today the level of the conscious and unconscious irresponsibility of the ruling “elite” is nearly ultimate, there is an extremely low standard of sensitivity to to the consequences (“after us – the deluge”), but the sense of permissiveness knows no bounds. Deep demodernisation of its “elite’s” consciousness has become the product of the modern Russian system, and under such “commanders” the endless talks about a war can easily become a reality.
As a matter of fact, Medvedev’s speech is like North Korean blackmailing: either put up with what we are doing under the terms which we propose, or get the World War III (we have out finger on the nuclear-trigger). Even if the confrontation with the whole world initiated by Putin does not result in an armed conflict, the new Cold War will become a failure for Russia anyway, the same way the previous cold War ended – with a full defeat and collapse. But it will happen much quicker.
Therefore, as Medvedev has said, “we rolled back”… right to North Korea.
