The electoral commissions of the Vyborg and Boksitogorsk districts of Leningrad region have registered five candidates from the Yabloko party for municipal elections. The Yabloko candidates are campaigning under the general party slogan “For Peace and Freedom! For the Ceasefire Agreement!”. Public figures from the Vyborg District Anastasia, Diana and Dmitry Solovyovs, and Maxim Evarestov are fighting for mandates in municipal councils. The current deputy of Boksitogorsk urban settlement Vladimir Shibayev is running for a new term.

Anastasia Solovyova is a candidate in the elections of deputies of the Council of Polyanskoye rural settlement of Vyborg District in multi-mandate constituency No. 3. The candidate is 43, and she was born in Vyborg. She graduated from the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University.

Diana Solovyova is a candidate in the elections of deputies of the Goncharovskoye Rural Settlement Council of the Vyborg District in multi-mandate constituency No. 2. The candidate is 36, born in Leningrad. Graduated from the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Dmitry Solovyov is a candidate in the elections of deputies of the Vyborg City Council in single-mandate electoral district No. 19. The candidate is 56 years old, born in Vyborg. Graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Maxim Evarestov is a candidate in the elections of deputies of the Council of Pervomayskoye rural settlement of the Vyborg district in multi-mandate district No. 1. The candidate is 42 years old, born in Leningrad. He graduated from the North-West Academy of Public Administration.

Dmitry Solovyov is the Chairman of the Society for the Protection of Consumer Rights of the Leningrad Region. Maxim Evarestov is the Deputy Chairman of the non-profit organisation. Anastasia and Diana Solovyovs are lawyers in the organisation.

Vladimir Shibayev is a candidate in the elections of deputies of the Council of Boksitogorsk urban settlement of Boksitogorsk municipal district in multi-mandate electoral district No. 2. The candidate is 61. He is an incumbent deputy of the Boksitogorsk Urban Settlement Council. He was born in Boksitogorsk. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Foreign Economic Relations, Economics and Law. Currently works as a driver of the ambulance department at the Boksitogorsk interdistrict hospital.

Elections in the Leningrad Region will be held on a single voting day, 8 September.
