Yabloko to host a lecture by Alexander Verkhovsky on nationalism in post-Soviet Russia

On 4 April, the Yabloko Party University will host a lecture “How Russian nationalism has changed over three post-Soviet decades” by Alexander Verkhovsky, a famous researcher of nationalism and extremism and head of the SOVA Research Centre.
What types of nationalism do we know and how were they manifested in Russian nationalism in the post-Soviet time? How did the dominant views in the nationalist environment change over different periods? What role did the state play and what position did it take? Expert Alexander Verkhovsky will answer these and other questions.
The lecture will take place at the party office in Moscow (Pyatnitskaya 31, building 2) and will begin at 18:00 (Moscow time). Registration is required.
