The questions for the electronic voting [in Moscow] have been increasing, but there are virtually no answers. I have written recently about how the administrative resource force people to electronic voting, now I will tell you about citizens who, due to technical failures of the e-voting system, were unable to vote at all. I still receive messages about e-voting malfunctions. It is simply impossible to vote in person at a polling station using a paper ballot [in case of malfunction] after registering in the e-voting! As a result, citizens were virtually deprived of their right to vote.
At a meeting of the Moscow City Duma, I sent a request about this problem to the Chair of the Moscow Electoral Commission, Olga Kirillova. And then the answer came, stating that based on all the citizens’ appeals, the electoral commission concluded that the voters themselves were to blame, and there were no problems with voting at the polling stations at all!
They don’t provide any evidence. It is not clear from the answer [of the Moscow Electoral Commission] how many Muscovites were unable to exercise their right to vote, which the Moscow Electoral Commission was had to ensure. I will send another request about how exactly this situation will be corrected by the officials of the electoral commission who were hired by citizens.
