Yabloko’s Federal Party School announces another training course. Yabloko supporters under 30 are invited to enroll

Soon Yabloko will start training of the third class of Yabloko’s Federal Party School. Lectures for the students will be given by Grigory Yavlinsky, Chairman of the Yabloko Federal Political Committee, Nikolai Rybakov, Chairman of the Yabloko party, and non-Yabloko experts. The names of the tutors will be announced later. In previous semesters, these were Nikolai Rybakov and Yabloko Deputy Chairs Boris Vishnevsky and Ivan Bolshakov, as well as Alexander Gnezdilov, a member of the Yabloko Political Committee. The training will start in March and will last four months. Yabloko asks all the prospective students to send their applications through the project website until February 21.
Any Yabloko member or supporter between the ages of 18 and 30 can enroll in the project. The number of students in the party school is limited, so those who apply for training have to participate in the competition. Applicants will need to write an essay analysis on a given topic. Details of the test task will be sent after filling out the application on the website.
The students of the Yabloko’s Party School be divided into several thematic groups, each group will be headed by a tutor – an experienced Yabloko politician.
Training will include four months of weekly lectures by the tutors and guest speakers. Students will be asked to do homework and case studies, develop and defend their projects.
By the end of their training at the Yabloko Federal Party School, students will have gained practical skills in political work, as well as the opportunity to do an internship with party MPs, join the party’s election headquarters and implement their own ideas in a team of experienced politicians. After successful training, each student will receive a certificate of graduation.
