Maxim Kruglov, head of the Yabloko party faction in the Moscow City Duma, following the example of the Yabloko deputies in the Karelian parliament, was one of the initiators of the appeal of the Moscow City Duma deputies to President Vladimir Putin with a call to back up his words about the end of the mobilisation by a corresponding decree. The draft appeal was submitted for consideration to the Duma.
The appeal runs that signing of the relevant decree will help reduce public tension. Recently, there has been a sharp increase in the number of appeals from citizens related to the violation of their rights during mobilisation and sending them to educational military units, military units and places of warfare. The number of people emigrating from the country has grown significantly.
“The moods in society are becoming increasingly nervous, given the situation “at the fronts”, the imminent completion of the regular autumn military conscription and the laws on responsibility for evading mobilisation hastily adopted by the State Duma. The President’s statements did not convince many people who left the country after 21 September. The fact that at least hundreds of thousands of able-bodied citizens have left the country is becoming yet another national disaster,” Kruglov stressed.
