Maxim Kruglov, head of the Yabloko faction in the Moscow City Duma and head of the Moscow campaign headquarters of Yabloko, wrote on his Telegram channel that 16% of Muscovites voted for Yabloko in the Moscow municipal elections past weekend.
“Even under the conditions of military censorship, police pressure, judicial arbitrariness, and, certainly, the “magic” of remote electronic voting, Yabloko candidates in Moscow received an average of about 16% of the vote in their constituencies.
These are only those candidates who were not removed in these elections and stayed until the vote. Let me remind you that the authorities removed some candidates of our team from the elections by the decision of court just 12 hours before the opening of polling stations.
True, the system is arranged in such a way that these percentages ensured only four deputy mandates for us in the whole city.
Nevertheless, it follows from the final data of the vote, that every sixth Muscovite in these elections is for Yabloko, which means – for peace and freedom! Even according to the official data,” Maxim Kruglov wrote.
