The Gender faction of the Yabloko party and the European Dialogue expert group are holding an international online seminar within the framework of the Women’s Time project: “Reproductive rights: from prohibition to freedom to dispose of one’s own body or vice versa”. The seminar will be held on 8 February at 18.00 (Msk).

It is planned to discuss the experience of regulating the reproductive rights of women in different countries:

– freedom of abortion;

– partial restriction (“a week of silence”, withdrawal from insurance);

– a complete ban on abortion and its consequences;

– abortion prevention, contraception and sexual education;

– fathers’ rights, IVF, surrogate motherhood.

and other relevant topics.

Keynote speeches (up to 15 minutes): Amanda Valentin, the Swedish Union of Liberal Women, Sweden; Anna Matulyak, reproductive psychologist and Director of the information and educational institution Centre for Reproductive Psychotherapy and Family Support House of Hadora, Belarus; Yelena Zdravomyslova, Professor of the European University, St. Petersburg, Russia.

Other speakers are Alyona Popova, politician and businesswoman, Nadezhda Azhgikhina, Director of PEN, Moscow, Olga Popova, Professor of St.Petersburg University, Olga Radayeva, First Deputy Chair of the Yabloko Gender Faction, Kristina Abramicheva, Deputy Chair of the Yabloko Gender Faction and other.

The working language is Russian.
