Putin’s system humiliates people, but no one is going to accept it

Yesterday they beat and detained Russian citizens in Moscow, those who dared to defend their rights, speak out against humiliation and disrespect, express their outrage and protest against the perversion of the meaning of the elections in a peaceful and completely civil manner.
Mass confrontation of people with the authorities represents another proof of the unacceptability and lack of viability of the Putin system. This system aims at suppressing the rights and freedoms of citizens, and at any price – in the most disgraceful and disgusting form, with the use of repression and violence against the elderly and women. Such a system not only prevents our country from moving forward, but also leads to the disintegration of society and pulls us to the bottom in the world.
Saturday events in Moscow once again demonstrated that, along with street protests, it is necessary to create a massive opposition political movement/party, prepare for meaningful, coordinated and targeted protest political activity.
Transcript of the video piece:
Grigory Yavlinsky: The essence is that it is an absolutely impossible Putin’s system, which humiliates citizens, deprives them of freedom and does not allow Russia to develop.
The authorities conducted the procedure of [registration in] elections in such a foolish, unprofessional and politically absurd way both in Moscow and St.Petersburg, so that it achieved active indignation of citizens.
I express the opinion of a huge number of people against applying repressive measures such as searches, arrests and detentions, as well as against falsification of signatures on behalf of those checking the signatures and protest against such suppression of citizens. All this together is unprecedented suppression of citizens even for Russia. And this leads to elimination of elections in principle in Russia.
Question: What do you think, how today’s action will end? As of this moment we know about over 250 people arrested.
Grigory Yavlinsky: I would like as few people as possible to suffer. This will be the best result. In addition, I would like all citizens to see that no one is going to agree to how the authorities suppress the rights and freedoms of our citizens.
