“You trust us – we work for you!” – such is the slogan of the election campaign led by the Yabloko team running in the elections of the District Council of Deputies of the city of Berezovsky, the Krasnoyarsk region. There are seven candidates on the party list, they are people of different professions and ages who are respected by their fellow citizens.

The list is topped by Alexander Zagainov, born in 1964, chipping machine operator, and Daria Martemyanova, born in 1985, accountant. Both are current deputies of the council the rural settlement Yesaulsky of the Berezovsky district, and both have considerable experience in politics.

Other canididates on the Yabloko list are Yulia Chistyakova, born in 1983, educator in the Yesaulsky orphanage, Ulyana Polonikova, born in 1983, sales manager, Yuri Martemyanov, born in 1965, carpenter, Tatyana Kovaleva, born in 1982, instructor for home economy classes in the Yesaulsky orphanage, and Alexander Kostnikov, born in 1975, Deputy General Director of KrasBusiness.

Protection of environment has been a traditionally important topic for the Berezovsky branch of Yabloko. Yabloko activists have repeatedly opposed the illegal felling of the Yesaulsky pine forest, did not allow the destruction of the forest with century-old pines, and local residents are grateful for this. The Yabloko representatives also earned gratitude from their fellow countrymen during the pandemic, organising assistance in delivering food and medicines for those who needed it.

It shoule be noted that two advertising banners of Yabloko candidates running for the district council were stolen in the Berezovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on August 20.
