Yabloko will take part in the organisational committee of the Boris Nemtsov Memorial March
The application for the march will be submitted for 29 February

Kirill Goncharov, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow branch of Yabloko, and Galina Mikhaleva, Chair of the Gender Faction, Professor of the Russian State University for Humanities, joined the organizational committee of the Boris Nemtsov Memorial March on behalf of the Yabloko party. The march will take place on 29 February, the closest Saturday to the day of the assassination of Boris Nemtsov – 27 February.
“With regard to the route, the centre of Moscow is fundamental for us, and given the situation [with Vladimir Putin’s amending the Russian Consitution], the memorial action will be combined with the demands of the present political agenda: the rights of citizens and the succession of power,” Kirill Goncharov said.
Opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge in Moscow on 27 February, 2015. The Yabloko party annually takes part in the actions in memory of the murdered politician throughout the country.
