YABLOKO nominated candidates for municipal elections in Moscow region
On March 16 the Regional Council of the Moscow region branch of YABLOKO nominated candidates for early municipal elections which will take place on April 27. Petr Zhukov was nominated as candidate for the head of the Naro-Fominsky minicipal district, Natalya Antonova was nominated for the head of the Zvenigorod city district.
“We set the goal to take part in all the elections which take place in the Moscow region and always seek for good results. In particular it adverts the Zvenigorod city where YABLOKO has had a very active branch for a year and a half,” saidhead of the Moscow region branch of YABLOKO Alexandr Gunko.
YABLOKO’s Lubov Kopach moved into second place at the latest elections for head of the Kashira city and got 23.27 percent and lost to the ruling United Russia’s candidate Sergei Burov who got 49.61 percent of votes.
