YABLOKO nominated Anatoly Golov to run in St.Petersburg gubernatorial elections

St.Petersburg branch of YABLOKO nominated Anatoly Golov, Co-Chair of the Consumers’ Union of Russia, candidate in St.Petersburg gubernatorial elections.
The candidacy of Anatoly Golov was supported by 38 delegates of the party conference out of 42. The results of the secret ballot were announced on Tuesday late at night.
Two other candidates that had been also approved by YABLOKO’s Bureau – Mikhail Amosov, one the party founders and Kirill Strakhov, municipal deputy, – withdrew their candidatures.
Also the conference of St.Petersburg YABLOKO nominated 209 candidates to run in municipal elections in the city.
