Yabloko municipal deputies in Ryazan voted against representatives of United Russia when electing heads of municipal councils

The first meetings of the Municipal Councils of Deputies of the new convocation of the Kriushinsky rural settlement of the Klepikovsky region and the Dubrovichy rural settlement of the Ryazan region were held. In the past elections journalist Maria Rakcheyeva was elected a deputy from the Yabloko party and Konstantin Smirnov, Chairman of the regional branch of Yabloko, was elected deputy for another term.
The councils elected the chairpersons, deputy chairpersons, and secretaries at the first meetings.
Before the elections, Yabloko deputies made a public commitment to vote against representatives of the ruling United Russia party for leadership positions. Maria Rakcheyeva and Konstantin Smirnov voted against the candidates proposed by the United Russia party, which holds a majority in both the councils.
