YABLOKO deputies defend Lev Shlosberg against murder threats
Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St.Petersburg Boris Vishnevsky and Mikhail Amosov filed a request with the head of the St. Petersburg Department of the Russian Ministry of Interior Sergei Umnov demanding that the report on the threats to Lev Shlosberg, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Pskov Region, must be considered. Sergei Usmanov promised to consider the report and take the situation under his personal control.
In October 2016 some Valery Golikov, a resident of St. Petersburg, wrote a comment on Lev Shlosbergs Vk social network account. “I am ready to shoot you myself,” he wrote and later confirmed his intentions leaving his phone number.
In December 2016 Boris Vishnevsky appealed to the St. Petersburg Department of the Russian Ministry of Interior demanding that a criminal case under the Article 119 of the Criminal Code (a murder threat) must be filed. In about a month he received an answer from an investigating officer who rejected to file a criminal case. Boris Vishnevsky successfully appealed against the decision.
