Nikolay Rybakov met with candidates for deputies, activists and local residents

During his working visit to Kostroma on Thursday, August 13, Nikolai Rybakov examined the destroyed sewage treatment plant in the village of Tatarskoye and discussed with local residents the problems they face in their daily life.

In the city of Kostroma, Nikolai Rybakov visited a number of abandoned facilities in different parts of the city. While visiting the abandoned park of the former recreation and health centre Kostromskoy, the Chairman of Yabloko met with Valentina Yamshchikova, Co-chairman of the Kostroma regional environmental movement “In the Name of Life” and deputy chair of the regional branch of Yabloko.

In the Zavolzhye park, Nikolai Rybakov discussed the situation with Oleg Savelyev, member of the Council of the environmental movement “In the Name of Life”. Then the head of Yabloko went to the Shagovsky pond and the site of the former station of young naturalists, where Natalya Tsvetkova, environmental and city preservation activist, told him about the environmental problems that Kostroma faces today.

On Thursday evening Nikolai Rybakov met with the Kostroma candidates to deputies from the Yabloko party. In the Kostroma region, Yabloko nominated its candidates for the regional and city councils (Dumas) of Kostroma.

During the visit, Nikolai Rybakov also gave interviews to local media: Logos, KnV and Bui-TV channels, as well as the K1News portal. At the end of the day, the Chairman of Yabloko took part in an online rally in support of imprisoned journalist Ivan Safronov.

Before the single voting day on September 13, Nikolai Rybakov intends to visit the regions where the party takes part in the elections. On August 18 the party Chairman will visit the Kaliningrad region.
