Vladimir Yefimov, Chairman of the Kamchatka regional branch of the Yabloko party, was released from the detention centre, where he spent two days in connection with the criminal case brought against him.
Vladimir Yefimov is forbidden to use means of communication and is deprived of access to the Internet, the brother of the politician, Oleg Yefimov, told us.
A criminal case against Vladimir Yefimov was opened under Article 280.3 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, (“Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”). The home of the Chairman of the Kamchatka Yabloko was searched, phones, equipment, and information carriers were seized.
