Two films by Grigory Amuel shown in YABLOKO

On 26 May two films by Grigory Amuel were shown in YABLOKO: “Redlich – People from the Other Side” and “Football 1955. USSR – West Germany”. The event was organized by Galina Mikhaleva, Secretary of YABLOKO’s Political Committee and Olga Radayeva, Advisor to YABLOKO Chairman.
A discussion with the director of the films director Grigory Amnuel was held after viewing of the films.
“Redlich – People from the Other Side”
The film got a diploma of the human rights film festival film “Stalker”, diploma of the Film Festival “Russian Expats”. The film depicts the tragic fate of Russians who were forced to an exile after the October revolution of 1917. The central character of the film is Roman Nikolaevich Redlich, philosopher, writer and public figure.
“Football 1955. USSR – West of Germany”
The film represents a video illustration of the poem by Yevgeny Yevtushenko “Match of the USSR-FRG, 1955”, which reflected a passionate football match between the USSR and the world champions – the West Germany team. The match took place in August 1955 in Moscow, ten years after the Second World War ended.
