The second round of Yabloko’s Moscow primaries will be held on 2-4 June, the debates will be held on 1 June

The organizational committee of the primaries for nomination of Yabloko’s candidate for the post of the Mayor of Moscow will be held on 2 June. It will last three days, the counting of votes will begin at 21:00 on 4 June, after which the name of the winner of the primaries will be announced.
The debates of the winners of the first round of the primaries Sergei Mitrokhin and Yakov Yakubovich will be held on 1 June at 19:00.

According to the results of the preliminary vote, held on 27-29 May, none of the 21 candidates participating in the primaries got over 50 per cent of the vote so that to win in the first round. Chairman of the Moscow Yabloko Sergei Mitrokhin and Yakov Yakubovich, head the Tverskoi Municipal Distrcit of Moscow, obtained the best results – 24.14 per cent and 22.7 per cent of the vote, respectively. The third and fourth place was taken by Andrei Morev, head of the Yakimanka district (17.72%), and Yelena Rusakova, head of the Gagarinsky district (13.31%).
Voting in the second round will be held in the party’s Moscow office (Pyatnitskaya 31, bldg 2) on 2-4 June. Opening hours of the polling station: from 10:00 to 21:00.
People who are on the electoral lists will be able to take part in the voting. They are members and volunteers of the party, municipal deputies, candidates and official representatives of the party at elections of different levels, party supporters, journalists and public opinion leaders.
1,721 voter from the total 4,459 voted in the first round.
