On 25 July, representatives of the Pskov branch of Yabloko Lev Shlosberg, Dmitry Permyakov and Nikolai Kuzmin submitted all the necessary documents to the regional electoral commission for registration of a single party list of candidates in the elections of the Pskov Regional Assembly.

The Pskov branch of Yabloko nominated 42 candidates as part of a single list of candidates to run in the elections of the Pskov Regional Assembly.

The list was topped by the deputies of the Pskov Regional Assembly Lev Shlosberg and Artur Gaiduk, as well as Alexander Konashenkov, deputy of the Assembly of the Gdovsk region and a farmer.

Among the nominated candidates there are 15 deputies of the regional and local levels, including three deputies of the regional Assembly (Lev Shlosberg, Artur Gaiduk, and Vsevolod Kozlovsky), Dmitry Permyakov, deputy of the Pskov City Duma from Yabloko, and Yabloko deputies of district councils Nadezhda Singatullova, Lyubov Zhiltsova, Dmitry Baranov, Valentina Kolesnik, Lyubov Gerasimova, Sergei Izotov, Irina Yershova and Andrei Vikhman.

The Pskov Yabloko team includes 25 candidates who have already had experience of election campaigns, and 17 are participating in elections for the first time.

Since 25 July, candidates nominated in single-mandate constituencies has begun submitting their documents to electoral commissions for registration. The Pskov  branch of Yabloko nominated 13 candidates in all single-mandate constituencies.

Registration of a single list of candidates should take place by 3 August.

Elections to the Pskov Regional Assembly of the seventh convocation will take place on the same day as the State Duma elections – 19 September.
