The police detained Vladimir Yefimov, Chairman of the Kamchatka Yabloko

The police detained Vladimir Yefimov, Chairman of the Kamchatka Yabloko, Yefimov managed to tell Kam 24 media about his detention in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky:
“I was detained near my house. There were five police officers. They said that I had to go with them to clarify the circumstances. They say that Nazi symbols were allegedly published on my social networks. Now we are going to the department of the Centre for Combating Extremism,” Yefimov said.
He also added that he had never published images with symbols of Nazism on his social media accounts.
Yet there has been no contact with Yefimov.
Vladimir Efimov is a well-known Kamchatka journalist, blogger and politician. For a long time he worked as the Editor-in-Chief of the TVK television company, now he is the head of the regional branch of the Yabloko party, as well as the Chairman of the Public Council for the Development of Civil Society under the regional government.
This morning, a search took place at the home of Arkhangelsk Yabloko activist Daria Poryadina.
Update, 24 March. Lawyer Andrei Sarkisyan gave details on the case of the Chairman of the Kamchatka Yabloko Vladimir Yefimov:
Vladimir Yefimov was detained near his home on 23 March, at around 5:50 p.m., by employees of the Centre for Combating Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kamchatka Territory, after which he was taken to the police station.
Currently, he is detained for up to 48 hours and taken to a detention facility.
By this morning, no protocol on an administrative offense has been drawn up against Vladimir Yefimov, and the file of the case has not been sent to the court.
Presumably, Yefimov is being prosecuted for an administrative offense under Article 20.3 Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – “propaganda or public demonstration of Nazi emblems or symbols”.
This article envisages a fine of 1,000 – 2,000 roubles or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
