According to the results of yesterday’s single voting day in Russia, the YABLOKO party has overcome the five percent barrier in three capitals of Russian regions: Kostroma (6.55 per cent), Tomsk (5.54 per cent) and Vladimir (5.50 per cent). In Kaluga YABLOKO representative passes top the city parliament in a single-mandate constituency.
In Tomsk and Vladimir the result bases on 100 of counted ballots and in Kostroma about 49 per cent of ballots have been counted.
Vladimir Mikhailov, the leader of the YABLOKO list in the Kostroma region, wins in a single-mandate district No 6: he has obtained 37 per cent of the vote. Georgy Khomyak representing the ruling United Russia comes second with 24 per cent of votes.
The Kostroma region will be the sixth region, where the regional parliament will have representatives of the YABLOKO party.
As of now eight lists of YABLOKO candidates overcome the threashold for legislatures: in addition to the aforementioned three capital cities, YABLOKO lists of candidates pass in the Nevelsky (11.37 per cent) and Sebezhsky (5.02 per cent) districts of the Pskov region, Pechenegsky district (9.93 per cent) of the Murmansk region, and such cities as Zheleznogorsk (7.59 per cent) and Sharypovo (6.10 per cent) of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Alexei Kolesnikov, leader of the Kaluga branch of YABLOKO, won the election in single-mandate district No 24 of Kaluga.
Olga Kolokolova, leader of the Perm branch of YABLOKO, will become a deputy of the Provincial Assembly of Krasnokamsky Municipal District. She obtained 47 per cent of the votes in this district.
In the Moscow region, Valery Pashkov won the elections to the Council of Krasnoarmeisk in electoral district No 8.
In the Pskov region YABLOKO won in over ten electoral districts.
In the elections to the regional parliament in the Kostroma region (where YABLOKO demanded from the authorities to register PARNAS for the elections), according to the preliminary results based on 65 per cent of counted ballots, YABLOKO gets 2.02 per cent and PARNAS – 1.91 per cent.
