Residents complain to Mitrokhin
Press Release, August 14, 2013
Candidate for Moscow Mayor Sergei Mitrokhin had a meeting with the residents of the Kotlovky district.
The residents are outraged with the activity of their district authority. The authorities build parking spaces breaching safety and health regulations, destroy the lawns and the green space in the yards. The parking space was built at the distance of five meters from the school and the kindergarten, but, according to the law, this can be done no less than in 25 meters from the education establishments. Moreover, the nearby trees, including the blue spruces, were cut down.
Sergei Mitrokhin already sent a claim on the breaking of the engineering rules to the temporary acting Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
The residents showed Sergei Mitrokhin the deep holes left from the construction works, heaps of rubbish, broken asphaltic pavements, emergency condition of the balconies, blistered up plaster in the entrance hall.
Moreover, the residents complained about the unsuitable place for the dog’s play area, which makes too much noise.
The children’s play ground is also in the state of emergency.
Deputy Head of the district authority was present at the meeting. Sergei Mitrokhin demanded from her to renovate the children’s playground and remove the treats to the lives of the residents immediately.
