Nikolai Rybakov proposed to introduce a unified environmental standard for resort cities

On 21 August, Nikolai Rybakov visited Taganrog, the Rostov-on-Don Region, within the framework of his election tour and proposed to introduce a single environmental standard for resort cities.
A single environmental standard should include the following:
– Standards for CO2 emissions into the atmosphere;
– Availability of an accessible infrastructure for the separate collection of waste, absence of open landfills for the storage of household and industrial waste;
– Development of a system for the use of mainly local products in public catering establishments;
– 100% purification of all effluents and discharges into reservoirs in the resort;
– A programme for the development of specially protected natural areas;
– Maximum use of energy from renewable sources;
– Strengthening the seashores of resort cities;
– Development of urban infrastructure in accordance with international environmental standards;
– Creation of a municipal resort police for monitoring the compliance with environmental protection standards by vacationers and local residents;
– Arrangement of special bike paths, arrangement of walking and cycling routes through forests around resort cities and coasts.
These measures will make it possible to create safe conditions for the health of tourists in resort cities, which will stimulate the development of domestic tourism in Russia.
It should be noted that on August 20-21 Nikolay Rybakov was on a working visit to the Rostov region.
On August 22-23, the leader of the Yabloko will visit the cities of the Krasnodar Territory.
