Nikolai Kavkazsky protested against the construction of a metro station

YABLOKO’s candidate to the Moscow City Duma deputy Nikolai Kavkazsky participated in a picket against the plans of the Moscow Government to construct the third interchange circuit of the metro through the Sokolniky station. About sixty local residents participated in the action. The construction in that place will destroy the lime avenue, create traffic problems in the district for several years and do damage to the foundations of the apartment blocks. 
Nikolai Kavkazsky and the local residents are determined to achieve the repeal of the decision of the Government to conduct the construction works through the Sokolniky metro station since there’s an alternative place for it.
