Most mass-scale election fraud at early voting in Tatarstan and St.Petersburg
Press Release, 14.09.2014
According to the data from YABLOKO’s hotline by 12.00 am, one can say that the major election fraud technology has once again become the enforcement to early voting.
Experts claim that the early voting is used to replace the bulletins before the election observers come on the voting day.
It’s not necessary to force state workers to vote for the ruling party: it’s important to make them participate in voting and the wrong “tick” can always be replaced.
More than 11% of voters (350 thousand people) in the Republic of Tatarstan participated in early voting.
St.Peterburg has fallen behind just a little bit. Here 9% of voters (300 thousand people) participated in early voting.
More than 100 thousand people (5,6%) participated in early voting at gubernatorial elections in the Altai Territory.
In the Leningrad region there is 4,71% of voters (58 830 people) who participated in early voting.
35970 voters or 2,97% percent voted for head of the Republic of Udmurtia.
2,7% citizens participated in early voting in the Volgograd region.
30.136 people (2,26%) participated in early voting in the Irkutsk region.
35 thousand people (1,7%) in the Krasoyarsk region voted on advance polling day.
74 thousand citizens of the Samara region (3%) participated in early voting at gubernatorial elections.
13 thousand people voted on the advance polling day in Yamal.
“The elections in St.Petersburg strike us with the emphasized lawlessness. First, [the temporary actions governor] Poltavchenko prevented all his rivals from registering as candidates [for governor] and the election commissions members hid from the candidates for municipal deputies. But it turned it this was not enough and they had to make 300 thousand people participate in early voting”, noted YABLOKO leader Sergei Mitrokhin.
The early voting has been returned this year. In 2009 it was prohibited due to the statements by the three parliamentary parties (Communist party, Just Russia, LDPR) on mass election fraud at the regional elections including the elections to Moscow City Duma.
According to the Central Election Commission, 653 011 citizens of Russia (1,24%) of the total number of voters participated in early voting.
