Ivan Bolshakov: “We are going to run in the elections with a challenging programme raising the problems that no one else dared to”

According to Ivan Bolshakov, Deputy Chairman of Yabloko, the party is going to run in the elections with a challenging programme raising the problems that no one else dared to.
“We demand an investigation into the poisoning of Alexei Navalny and the attempt on the life of opposition politicians and journalists, release of all political prisoners, prohibition of private military campaigns, lifting of the food embargo and restrictions on the purchase of foreign drugs and medical equipment [imposed by the Russian government on its own population],” Bolshakov said.
Bolshakov stressed that the party’s programme is a programme targeted at reduction of military spending and directing of financial resources to healthcare and education. This is also a programme to increase freedom and raise welfare.
“This is the abolition of compulsory army conscription, this is open borders and a visa-free regime with Europe. This is modern economy and scientific progress,” Bolshakov stressed.
The Deputy Chairman of Yabloko also said that the authorities were trying to impose one-day parties on to Russian citizens, the parties that would “forget about their voters the next moment the elections are over”. But Bolshakov said, that people would certainly find out who really cared about their interests. That it is Yabloko which offers a green alternative, freedom and justice, economic growth and development, and never lies to its voters.
He also noted that together with millions of Russian citizens, Yabloko wants a different parliament and a different future for their country.
“The country is demanding change. And we are ready to take responsibility for it Vote for Yabloko and there will definitely be changes!” Ivan Bolshakov stressed.
