Chelyabinsk branch of Yabloko to recruit candidates for municipal elections

The Chelyabinsk branch of Yabloko began recruiting candidates for the forthcoming municipal elections. In 2019 the residents of the regions will have to elect 472 municipal deputies.
For this reason the party regional branch started locking for prospective candidates who share Yabloko’s vision and are ready to participate in the election campaign.
“We offer an opportunity to all people who belong to the democratic opposition and share democratic values to come together and become our candidates,” runs a statement by the Chelyabinsk branch of Yabloko.
The regional branch will support their candidates during the campaign – they will help them to finalise documents, do fund-raising, arrange the campaign as well provide legal support. What is more, Yabloko’s candidates may participate in educational seminars, print campaigning material and use the resources of the party to organise election observation. Yabloko will continue supporting the candidates in case they are elected to the regional municipal bodies.
Prospective candidates need to fill in a form at Yabloko’s website in order to be considered for the role.
