An exhibition Citizen Poster will be held in the Yabloko party office from 22 December to 22 January.
In the context of a complicated social and political situation in Russia, the exhibition of Moscow artists of the Poster Square creative group touching upon many sensitive topics is in demand and very timely.
We invite you to visit the exhibition where you will see the works of the masters of the Russian poster, which has always been famous for its sharpness and topicality!
Young artists with a great creative background participated in the exhibition.
Yuri Leonov’s poster about skyrocketing electricity tariffs will not leave viewers of the older generation indifferent. The works by Konstantin Geraymovich who presented hand-drawn posters, both recently made and posters of the late 1980s and early 1990s, have never been exhibited until 2021.
A significant part of the exhibition presents works by Ivan Ostrovsky on social and political topics.
The works by Yevgeny Dobrovinsky have a special place at the exhibition, they are full of sarcasm and demonstrate critical thinking.
Mark Levin immortalised the memory of Acad. Andrei Sakharov in the rock, and Svetlana Dyomina outlined the right of every citizen to make decisions as concerns his/her health.
Maria Novikova made a poignant poster about Afghanistan with just two colours, and Sergei Karakashev touched up the paradoxes of the human soul.
The exhibition will be open to visitors on 22 – 28 December and on 10 – 22 January from 10:00 to 19:00.
Address: Moscow, Pyatnitskaya 31, building 2.
