Activist of Dagestan branch of YABLOKO detained

Police detained the activists of the Dagestan branch of YABLOKO Nametkhan Babayev in Makhachkala today.
Two police officers arrived at his flat, checked his passport but refused to return the document. Instead they suggested going to a police department.
Nametkhan refused to go to the the police station since it was unlawful, he didn’t receive any notice paper.
Chair of the Dagestan branch of YABLOKO Artur Babayev arrived at the place. He explained the police that the detention of Nametkhan would be unlawful. However, the police called a squad and took Nametkhan Babayev to a police department.
At the moment Artur Babayev is trying to get an appointment with deputy head of the police station.
On March 17 police already tried to detain Nametlhan Babayev at his flat but he was at work at that time. On March 9 police detained Chair of the Dagestan branch of YABLOKO Artur Babayev and his brother. Artur Babayev was told that since January 23, 2015, he was included in the law enforcement file with a note “Wahabee” and will be taken of the list in 45 years in 2060. YABLOKO leader Sergei Mitrokhin forwarded an appeal to Minister for International Affairs Vladimir Lolokoltsev demanding to conduct a check in connection with the detention of YABLOKO’s Adtur Babayev on March 9 and explain the reasons for putting him on some list.
