The Moscow Electoral Commission finds valid 114 out of 115 municipal deputies’ signatures in favour of nomination of Sergei Mitrokhin as candidate to the Moscow Mayor

On July 12, the Moscow Electoral Commission examined Sergei Mitrokhin’s lists with signatures of municipal deputies required for
nomination as candidate to the Moscow Mayor. Sergei Mitrokhin submitted 115 signatures, and the Moscow Electoral Commission
recognised 114 signatures as valid.One of the signatures was considered invalid, as municipal deputyAlexander Grusha signed in support of two candidates: Ivan Melnikov from the Communist Party and Sergei Mitrokhin from YABLOKO. Ivan Melnikov submitted the signatures to the Moscow Electoral Commission
before Sergei Mitrokhin.
On the week beginning from July 15 the Moscow Electoral Commission will adopt a decision on registration of Sergei Mitrokhin as candidate to the post of the Moscow Mayor.
