YABLOKO leader Sergei Mitrokin forwarded a letter to head of the Investigativr Committee Alexandr Basrtikin claiming that the Artyom Akopyan, the political consultant of the temporary acting governor of the Pskov region Andrei Turchak, has committed a crime. Akopyan called to destroy liberals, the Jews and the Germans on his Facebook page. After a scandal on the Internet Akopyan delited his page. But the Internet users have made screenshots.

According to Sergei Mitrokhin, the following statements by Akopyan incite social and national enmity, contain propaganda of people inferiority on the grounds of social and racial identity and also contain calls for violation of rights and freedoms:

“The only crime against humankind is liberal values. A follower of such values is a zombie which should be destroyed with no compassion as soon as you reveal one. No liberal no problem. Moreover, if a liberal has children, one should free them form the influence of such a sleazeball”.

“We defeated Hitler, not Merkel. We defeated Nazi, not eurofagets. Bitches, gloomy German gays. We need to destroy this mistake without exception not to dishonest the Teutonic spirit and the German anger. And out Victory”.

“Actually, the best cure from antisemitism is the understanding that those Jews who fit the image of Christian babies’ eaters sometimes really do eat them and do it not because they are devoted to Kabbalah mystery but due to banal stupidity. But clever Jews entered the United Russia (ruling party) and crate gulags for liberal intelligentsia together with us”.

YABLOKO leader demands from the Investigative Committee to conduct a check and file a criminal case under the Article 282 of the Criminal Code.
Leader of the Pskov branch of YABLOKO Lev Shlosberg who was the first to publish the screenshots of the scandalous statement by the political consultant of the temporary acting governor said that “the public statements by Akopyan is what governor Andrei Turchak wants to say but keeps silent as he’s afraid”.

Lev Shlosberg was running for governor of the Pskov region but he didn’t managed to pass the “municipal filter”. The municipal deputies were threatened by the ruling party and received instructions not to give signatures for registration of opposition candidates. This way Lev Shlosberg managed to collet 149 signatures out of 157.
Lev Shlosberg is chairman of the Pskov branch of YABLOKO, YABLOKO bureau member, member of the Pskov Legislative Assembly, journalist, prize-winner of Russia’s Gold Feather award.
