Young Yabloko supporters and members have held a three-day retreat following the election campaign. Many of the participants had their “baptism of fire” in the recent September elections to the State Duma and regional parliaments.
On the first day, in Moscow, the participants met Grigory Yavlinsky, Chairman of the Federal Political Committee and one of the founders of Yabloko.
On the second day, in the Ryazan Region, the young Yabloko members shared their experiences of running election campaigns with party leader Nikolai Rybakov, both in the conference hall and around the campfire.
To recharge, above all emotionally, the participants walked along the Konstantinovskoye Podgorye eco-trail and around the Museum-Reserve of Russian poet Sergei Yesenin in Konstantinovo, and visited the Solzhenitsyn Museum Centre.
Nikolai Rybakov had earlier said that he hoped such a retreat would become an annual tradition (read about the first retreat here). And now, for the second time, everything was organised to the highest standard. We go on working!
