How should you vote in the upcoming elections? Only for the Yabloko candidate, if there is one in your single-mandate constituency, and in the regional election in Veliky Novgorod, one can vote for the Yabloko list. If there is no Yabloko candidate in your constituency, you should not vote at all. This is because all the other political parties taking part in the elections are absolutely identical: since 2021, every party in the State Duma has voted the same way on every issue — just like [the ruling] United Russia.
How should you vote in the upcoming elections? Only according to your conscience. Yabloko’s election platform sets out our key positions on the future of our country in 43 words in Russian. We were removed from the elections precisely because so many people support this programme. Under conditions of total censorship, intimidation and legal pressure, we have managed to give people the chance to speak out against nuclear war, for freedom, and for a life without fear. We are confident that this voice will be heard.
Today, eight Yabloko members are in prisons and pre-trial detention facilities — sacrificing their freedom for the sake of Russia’s future, a life without fear, and a ceasefire.
I thank all the brave and honourable people, the true patriots, who have chosen to stand as Yabloko candidates despite threats and pressure. Special thanks and deep respect go to those Russian citizens who have helped us in this election campaign, including financially.
Regardless of the official election results, one thing can already be said: Yabloko has accomplished its task. Life does not end with this election — we will continue our political work for the sake of Russia’s future.
As of today, more than 100 Yabloko candidates continue to take part in the campaign across a wide range of Russian regions. A full list of the party’s State Duma candidates, along with an interactive map of the constituencies, is available on the party’s website.
