Moscow Region Yabloko submits candidates’ documents to the Electoral Commission for the Moscow Regional Duma

On Sunday, 19 July, the team of Moscow Region Yabloko submitted to the Regional Electoral Commission the documents of the candidates put forward by the party for the Moscow Regional Duma elections. The list includes 18 candidates, with a further five people nominated in single-mandate constituencies.
The region-wide part of Moscow Region Yabloko’s list was headed by:
SERGEI KRYZHOV, 71, Candidate of Technical Sciences, President of the Interregional Fund “Association of Human Rights Commissioners” and Chairman of the Moscow Regional branch of Yabloko.
ALEXANDER MURAVYOV, 38, public activist and Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Regional branch of Yabloko.
SVETLANA SMIRNOVA, 67, Candidate of Biological Sciences and Deputy Chairperson of the Moscow Regional branch of Yabloko.
A further 15 people were nominated as part of territorial groups.
Five people were nominated across five single-mandate constituencies.
It should be noted that Yabloko has put forward candidates for regional parliament elections in twelve regions, including those where the party is already represented: Karelia, the Pskov Region and St. Petersburg.
Yabloko candidates are standing in the election under the slogan “For Peace and Freedom! For a Life Without Fear!” The party’s 2026 election platform is the shortest in Yabloko’s history, at just 43 words.
