On 30 April 2026, the Federal Bureau of Yabloko resolved to submit Dmitry Anisimov’s candidacy to the St. Petersburg Electoral Commission for him to be granted a mandate as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. Anisimov’s candidacy had been recommended to the Federal Bureau the previous day, 29 April, by  the St. Petersburg regional branch of Yabloko. In the Legislative Assembly, Dmitry Anisimov will take the seat of Alexander Shishlov, Coordinator of the Federal Political Committee of Yabloko, who relinquished his deputy’s mandate last Wednesday.

Dmitry Anisimov was born in 1991 in Leningrad. He completed his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree (with distinction), and postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy of St. Petersburg State University. He holds a Candidate of Political Sciences degree and is the author of academic articles on various factors contributing to social tension.

He has been a member of Yabloko since 2017. In 2019 – 2020, he served as Chairman of the party’s Vasileostrovsky local branch in St. Petersburg. He is a heritage preservation activist and has been a member of VOOPIiK (the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments) since 2019, and an active participant in the campaign to create a park on the Smolenka River.

Dmitry is Deputy Chairman of St. Petersburg Yabloko and Chairman of the Party Commission of the St. Petersburg branch of Yabloko.

He is a champion of the St. Petersburg Youth Boxing Cup (2008) and a recipient of a diploma from the Strugatsky Brothers Foundation’s ABS Prize. His interests include literature, padel, tennis, mushroom foraging, and family life — he is married and is raising his daughter Mira.
