Yabloko to screen the documentary “The Right to Memory”, dedicated to human rights defender Arseny Roginsky

30 March would have been the 80th birthday of Arseny Roginsky, historian, dissident, former political prisoner, and head and co-founder of the Memorial Human Rights Society*.
On 30 March, Arseny Roginsky’s birthday, the Yabloko party’s central office will host a screening of the documentary “The Right to Memory”. In it, Arseny Roginsky recalls the history of his family and his involvement in the dissident movement in the USSR, and reflects on state terror in the USSR and the need for official evaluation of it.
At its heart, this is a film of reminiscence, in which Roginsky reflects on Russia’s past, present and future.
Following the screening, friends, family and colleagues will share their memories of Arseny Roginsky.
