Lecture by astrophysicist and professor the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Popov “A Universe of Questions and Answers” to take place on 9 December

Yabloko is continuing its series of events hosted by astrophysicist and professor the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Popov. On 9 December he will deliver a lecture entitled “A Universe of Questions and Answers”. In the chat of his Telegram channel, Sergei Popov has collected several dozen questions which he will answer during the lecture.
The range of questions received is broad – about observations, cosmology, exoplanets and galaxies.
Sergei Popov explains:
“Traditionally, many people ask about black holes and dark matter, but I shall try to diversify the subject matter, not limiting myself only to exotic objects and phenomena – fortunately, the audience’s activity makes this possible. Preparing for such a lecture is much more difficult, but also more interesting. Do come along – we’ll see how it turns out.”
The lecture by Sergei Popov will take place at Yabloko’s Moscow office (Pyatnitskaya 31, bldg 2) on 9 December. Starting at 19:00.
