Yabloko hosts a book launch by journalists Nadezhda Azhgikhina (Russia) and Katrina vanden Heuvel (USA) “We Still Believe…”

On Tuesday, 7 October, the central office of the Yabloko party will host a book launch by Nadezhda Azhgikhina and Katrina vanden Heuvel ” Hope Springs Eternal” published as part of a project by the “Association of Researchers of Russian Society – 21 Century”. The event starts at 7:00 PM.
The book presents a dialogue between two journalists that began in the late 1980s and has continued to the present day. The book’s chapters are devoted to the end of the Cold War, media development in Russia and the USA, the dialogue itself between women from the two countries, and the role of people’s diplomacy.
The new book also features publications from Russian and American press from different years, interviews, articles and previously unpublished photographs.
The enduring, inexhaustible belief that dialogue between people plays a decisive role even in global processes — this is the authors’ key message.
