Incumbent Yabloko deputies in Ikrinskoye village council of Kurakh District and in Shikhikent village council of Suleyman-Stalsky District, Albert Esedov and Vagid Devletkhanov, are standing for election to the councils again – their five-year terms expire in September.” The candidates’ electoral campaigns will be conducted under the party-wide slogan “For Peace and Freedom! For the Ceasefire Agreement!”.

Albert Esedov is Chairman of Dagestan branch of Yabloko, candidate of philological sciences, leading engineer of the Roskadaster branch in the Republic of Dagestan, member of the Expert Council on Improving Local Self-Government Organisation under the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan, expert of the Regional Headquarters for Election Observation in the Republic of Dagestan, member of the Coordination Council of NGOs of the Republic of Dagestan, and associate professor of the “Land Management and Cadastres” department at Dagestan State University of National Economy.

Vagid Devletkhanov is an individual entrepreneur, driver for the StroyTrans company, and member of the Yabloko party.

Elections in Dagestan will take place on 14 September.
