Yabloko has nominated incumbent deputy of the Kaluga City Duma Alexei Kolesnikov as a candidate for Kaluga City Duma elections

The former Chairman of Kaluga Yabloko will conduct an electoral campaign for Peace and Freedom in single-mandate constituency No. 24 of Kaluga.
Alexei Kolesnikov, 52, he was born in Kaluga and graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Service and Economics with a degree in “State and Municipal Administration”.
In 2008 he was Chairman of the Committee for Municipal Improvement and Road Management in the City Board (Kaluga City Services Management); in 2009 he was deputy head of Kaluga city services management.
He is currently an individual entrepreneur.
From 2011 to 2019, Alexei Kolesnikov headed the Kaluga regional branch of the Yabloko party.
In 2020, he was elected deputy of the Kaluga City Duma from the Yabloko party in electoral constituency No. 24.
Alexei Kolesnikov’s electoral campaign will be conducted under the party-wide slogan “For Peace and Freedom! For the Ceasefire Agreement!”. The candidate counts on the support of city residents, with whom he has worked for the past five years in the city Duma.
Elections in Kaluga will take place on 14 September.
