Yabloko planted thirty young fruit trees and bushes in Ivanovo

As part of the traditional spring clean-up day, the regional branch of the Yabloko party planted thirty young fruit trees and bushes in a garden (Skver Energetikov) in Ivanovo. Residents of nearby houses helped plant the seedlings and thanked Yabloko for the initiative.
Yabloko is confident that making cities greener is not a formality, but an indicator of the population’s attitude to the authorities. If local authorities cannot cope with the improvement of flower beds and lawns, then they cannot restore order in other areas of city life, such as the condition of roads, repair of housing and the entire housing and utilities sector.
“Today we did not just plant trees and bushes, we showed an image of a clean and bright future at the municipal and regional levels, which Ivanovo lacks so much,” Ivanovo Yabloko activists say.
