On 2 April 2, the Moscow branch of Yabloko will host an event of writing letters to political prisoners. Everyone is welcome.
We planned to hold an event of writing letters at the end of March, but postponed it due to the tragedy at Crocus City Hall. During this time, the names of journalists Olga Komleva and Antonina Favorskaya were added to list of political prisoners. In total, according to OVD-Info independent human rights media project, there are already more than 1,000 political prisoners in Russia.
Yabloko invites everyone to the party office in Moscow (Pyatnitskaya 31, building 2) today, on 2 April, from 6 to 9 p.m. We will write letters to those who have been unjustly deprived of their freedom and really need support.
Yabloko municipal deputy Vasily Dikarev will perform a musical programme ata the event. Traditionally, all participants will be treated to tea, cookies and apples. Just don’t forget to register for the event.
