Dismissal from service of those mobilised “is possible in accordance with the current legislation, as well as after the cessation of the circumstances that served as the basis for the conscription of citizens for military service”.
This is stated in the response of the Administration of the President of Russia to the appeal of Boris Vishnevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Yabloko party and deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. Vishnevsky called the Russian President to issue a decree on the completion of partial mobilisation.
“I asked to issue a decree to complete the “partial mobilisation”. But, apparently, there are no plans [in the Administration] to issue it. The goals of the special military operation have not been achieved. This means that those mobilised will continue to serve,” Boris Vishnevsky said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defence reported, in response to an appeal from Boris Vishnevsky, sent at the request of the wives of the mobilised, that “the beginning of the period of partial mobilisation was announced by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 647 of 21 September, 2022, and the completion of partial mobilisation will also be announced by decree of the President of the Russian Federation”. The ministry also said that “the end of the period of partial mobilisation will be determined by the leadership of the state based on achieving the goals of the special military operation and solution of problems”.
