The Yabloko Party University will host a lecture by Nikolai Rybakov on modern environmental trends

On 16 November, the Yabloko Party University will host a lecture “Ecology of Russian Regions: Trends of the 2020s.” The lecturer is Nikolai Rybakov, an environmentalist, human rights activist, and Chairman of the Yabloko party.
Since 2000, Russia has been pursuing a policy of de-ecologisation. The decisions adopted in this period are aimed at easing the destruction of unique Russian nature. Forests are mercilessly cut down, rivers and lakes are being polluted. The air in Russian cities is unsuitable for living. What is the real situation with environment in our country? What can each person do to improve the environmental situation? Nikolai Rybakov’s lecture will be devoted to these issues.
The lecture will take place at the party office (Moscow, Pyatnitskaya 31, building 2) on 16 November at 19:00. Registration is required to participate.
The lecture will be streamed on the YouTube channel of the Yabloko Party University.
