Press Release, 24.05.2023
On 28 May, The Sverdlovsk Region branch of Yabloko organises an open meeting with potential candidates for deputies of the Yekaterinburg City Duma, who will introduce themselves and their election programmes to the residents of Yekaterinburg. Everyone will have the opportunity to not only listen to the presentations of the candidates, but also to ask questions. Konstantin Kiselyov, the current deputy of the Yekaterinburg City Duma from the Yabloko party, will act as an expert in evaluating the programmes of candidates to the city parliament. The event will be moderated by Alexander Kudelkin, a member of the Yabloko party and ex-candidate for the elections of deputies of the State Duma in 2021 from Yabloko.
Maxim Petlin, Chairman of the Sverdlovsk Yabloko and a member of the Federal Bureau of the party, will conduct a training for the candidates before the launch of their programmes. “I will conduct a small seminar for potential candidates. We will talk about how to prepare for a campaign, how to conduct it, how to create and shape one’s image and personal brand,” Maxim Petlin said.
The event will take place at the ransHotel on Sunday, 28 May.
On the same day, Yabloko will hold its regular event of writing letters to political prisoners at the same hotel at 15:00.
