The Novosibirsk branch of Yabloko elects new chairperson

The Novosibirsk regional branch of the Yabloko party elected a new chairperson at the Conference of the regional branch. Natalia Chubykina became new Chair.
Natalya Chubykina was born on 4 March, 1955. Graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Soil of the Tomsk State University and did her postgraduate studies of the Biological Institute of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Over the years, she was the executive director and coordinator of educational programmes of the international Fund for Environmental Innovation Programmes “ISAR-Siberia”, an expert of the NRO “Russian Environmental Independent Expertise”, and editor of Novosibirsk media on environment and problems of science.
In Novosibirsk, Natalya Chubykina is known for her environmental activities: separate waste collection, environmental education, conservation of forest ecosystems, and protection of homeless animals.
Currently Natalya Chubykina teaches at the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management.
The Conference also elected Bureau of the regional branch, Oleg Donskikh, Oksana Lukyanets, Kirill Maryin, Natalya Pryidak, Yelena Starkova, Alexander Khutoretsky and Dmitry Shabanov became Bureau members.
Oksana Lukyanets was elected a member of the Federal Council of the Party.
