Police filed a protocol on “discrediting the army” against ex-Chair of the Saratov branch of Yabloko

A protocol on “discrediting the armed forces of the Russian Federation” (Article 20.3.3 Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) was drawn up against Ksenia Sverdlova, ex-Chair of the Saratov regional branch of the Yabloko party.
Ksenia Sverdlova was taken out of the plane accompanied by police after landing at the Saratov airport, at the exit from the arrivals area she was met by policemen of the Kirov police department, who drew up a protocol of offense against her.
“I discredited myself with photographs of myself with a “No ** ***” poster and our Yabloko pacifist badges, which I posted on social networks before this very discrediting article [of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation] came into force,” Ksenia Sverdlova said.
Ten Yabloko members have already been brought to administrative responsibility under the article on “discrediting the Armed Forces”.
