The Pskov City Court fined Nikolai Kuzmin, a municipal deputy from Yabloko, 30,000 roubles under an article about “discrediting the actions of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.”
The court ruled out that Kuzmin’s placement of a fragment of the broadcast of Channel One with the anti-war action of Marina Ovsyannikova and a commentary on was a violation of the law.
It should be also noted that on 18 April, the court fined Lev Shlosberg, the leader of the Pskov Yabloko, 32,000 roubles for similar actions. Later, a second administrative protocol was drawn up against Shlosberg. The fine for “discreditation of the armed forces” was imposed on Zhanna Shlosberg, Lev Shlosberg’s wife and a cardiologist. These decisions of the courts of first instance will be appealed to the Pskov Regional Court.
On 17 May, there will be the second hearings of the court in the case of Lyubov Zhiltsova, deputy of the Palkinsky District Assembly from Yabloko and a teacher of mathematics. She is accused under the same article for a photo with a piece of paper with the inscription “No ** ***”.
